This has been increased since release and you can use apps to effectively increase the size of your stash, but it's still annoying for hoarders like me. For many builds, it's still worth spending most of your points in Physique due to the relatively short supply of ways to improve your defenses. Although improved, the attribute system is pretty one dimensional.A verbose heads up/warning debuff display would be welcome. Debuffs on your character can be quite deadly and easy to miss or know what they are.I would like to see it possible to make a very offense-oriented character, relying on twitch reflexes (aka Mathil), CC and teleport to avoid engagement. Because of this, most "high-end" builds (including caster builds) turn into some variety of "tank and spank" when fighting bosses.Ideally, it should have diminishing returns, in that the first application within a time window would have an effect but subsequent applications would be increasingly less effective to fully resisted. Too many damage types and therefore resistances.Or just make a new character, because this game is a theory crafter's wet dream.These fights are designed to only be doable by the most powerful characters that heavily exploit mechanics. Be a masochist and attempt to kill the "raid bosses" in the game, such as the Avatar of Mogdrogen, Ravager, Celestial, etc.Run secret questlines that culminate in fighting even more super bosses.Hunt around the open world for Nemesis super bosses, kill them for special loot called Monster Infrequents (MIs).If you die, you lose your key and have to restart it. Running optional challenge areas/dungeons throughout the game world that require consumable keys to open.Arena game mode.There's 150 waves, only powerful and well built characters will be able to complete the hardest difficulty solo. Beyond the Shattered Realms, GD has other challenging activities you can do with an endgame character, including: D3 and especially PoE still have a more developed endgame, but they're MMOs so they kinda have to. With the Forgotten Gods expansion, GD has the Shattered Realms, which is a procedurally generated infinitely scaling roguelike endgame. In PoE you have the Atlas plus new stuff every league. This means it's more of a "casual" game - which can both be a good and bad thing, depending on what you're looking for. Probably the most important difference is that GD is not a MMO, while D3 and PoE are MMOs. I find GD less punishing and more relaxing than PoE. I would say that GD is comparatively complex to PoE in terms of theory crafting, which is one of my favorite aspects of ARPGs. Those games in their current state are excellent in their own ways. Is GD worth playing over current versions of Diablo 3 or Path of Exile? If the answer is yes, then this game is probably worth checking out. Yer a wizard, Harry! (with mortars that shoot meteors).Want to be a mage and a tank? Throw in a giant anime sword and make a build around it.Have a fondness for molotov "blackwater" cocktails? Make a build around it!.You can start at level 1 on Elite or Ultimate difficulty for extra challenge.Balance tweaks, such as improving the attribute system.New Devotion skills (think of it as a revamped PoE passive skill tree).Oathkeeper, a new class that lets you throw your shield like Captain America and spin to win.Shattered Realm, a new procedurally generated infinite scaling roguelike endgame.A criticism of the game was there weren't many movement abilities, so you were kinda walking around between monster packs. A bunch of new movement skills (teleports, leap slams, etc.).Massive hand-crafted environments (with secrets hidden throughout) and a new procedurally generated endgame.
